Who from overseas follows Australian football (AFL)?Thanks?

i was overseas in september two years ago so i missed most of the finals. there wasn't much publicity of afl, we did find one bar in florence that was playing the game (port was loosing to geelong by so much at quarter time we didn't bother going) and we saw one newspaper that printed the score. so im not really sure if someone didn't have cable in europe, they would be able to follow it too closely.
