Dookie and the Giant Kangaroo?

ok so the 8th graders (us) have to write a story for first graders based off a word our teacher gives us. well our word was dookie ( god knows why ) we didnt know it ment poop or so people say so we named our main character Dookie. people keep making fun of us saying the story is called Poop and the Giant Kangaroo instead of Dookie and the Giant Kangeroo...anyway... does dookie really mean poop?!!?
