Hairdresser messed up my hair!!!?

I went to my salon where I have been going for years. I usually use a girl named jess to do my highlights, and shes AWESOME. But I had to use this other girl and she messed up my highlights pretty bad. They are at least an inch off my head. I have brown hair, the highlights are bright red. I look retarted! What are my options? Can I get a refund or a doover. I paid 100 bucks for just my hair. This just happened a few hours ago. I like to blow dry my own hair so I didnt let her do it, I waited till I got home. When I noticed how bad it was, they were closed. What now?
