Is there anyone who can explain to me the meaning of Cora Aloran scam ?

I use to watch TV GMA News , ABS CBN and NBN channel and there are lot of news and story regarding Cora Aloran multi pyramid scam. Is there anyone who can tell me this scam story ? As i want to know more about this.
